Named The European Association of Travel Agencies and Tour Operators (ECTAA) has identified the most attractive destination in Europe for 2024.
Collaborating with the Bulgarian Ministry of Tourism, Bulgaria has become the chosen destination.
It’s worth noting that since March 2024, Bulgaria has been part of the Schengen Area, though entry into the country without passport control is possible only by air or sea.
Entry to Bulgaria is visa-free for citizens of Ukraine.
The choice made by the European Tour Operators Association implies recommending Bulgaria as a preferred destination for leisure and promoting it in the markets of EU countries.
ECTAA Secretary General Eric Dressin stated that he believes in Bulgaria’s potential to become one of the most competitive countries in European tourism, offering vacationers an entirely new experience.
