At the end of September, Cyprus is expected to experience a temperature increase of 2-7 degrees above normal. The hottest day of the week will be Sunday, September 24th. On this day, even in the shade, the temperature will rise to +40 degrees.
On September 21st (Thursday), the air will be 2-4 degrees warmer than usual. In the Troodos Mountains, brief showers are possible. At night, the temperature will drop to +19°C in the island’s inland areas, to +21°C on the coast. It will only be cool at night on mountain peaks, dropping to +13°C.
On September 22nd (Friday) and September 23rd (Saturday), meteorologists predict a further temperature increase of 2-5 degrees above normal. In the morning, fog is possible in some areas of the island. The sun will shine for approximately 11 hours a day.
On September 24th (Sunday), in Nicosia, the air temperature will rise to +39 degrees, in Limassol and Larnaca — to +36, in the resorts of Ayia Napa, Paralimni, and Polis — to +34, in Paphos — to +33, and in the Troodos Mountains — to +26.
The probability of precipitation is zero. There won’t be a single drop of rain.
