In late October, Warsaw’s Chopin Airport will commence its winter flight schedule with new destinations.
New Destinations:
- Agadir in Morocco with Wizz Air
- Athens with Sky Express
- Rome with PLL LOT
Additionally, from the end of February, PLL LOT will introduce new flights between Warsaw and Tashkent.
Holiday Flights
Traditionally, during Christmas, the airline Aer Lingus will provide several additional flights to Dublin.
Return of Winter Routes
- Wizz Air will reintroduce flights to Grenoble, Turin, and Verona
- PLL LOT will resume flights to Dubai
Passenger Volume
During the holiday season from June to the end of September, the airport served over 7.5 million passengers, which is 27,000 more than in the record-breaking summer period of 2019.
In September, Chopin Airport registered exactly 1,879,493 passengers, slightly more than in September 2019. The busiest day of the month was September 22, when the airport handled 67,169 travelers.
Among passengers, the most popular destinations from Chopin Airport in September were Turkey, Spain, Greece, and Germany. In the first three quarters of 2023, travelers from the capital airport most frequently flew to London, Antalya, Paris, Amsterdam, and Frankfurt.
