Ryanair adds 25 new flights from Modlin and 6 from Chopin Airport. Winter 2025 tickets are now on sale. Here’s where you can fly next — and how cheap.
If you thought Ryanair had already conquered every corner of Poland — surprise! The legendary low-cost airline has no intention of slowing down. In fact, they just announced a major expansion of their Polish network on their Facebook page. So yeah, you might want to start packing.
🛫 Wait… Warsaw has two airports?
For the uninitiated: Warsaw has not one, but two airports, and yes, it matters.
- Modlin Airport (WMI) — Ryanair’s budget base, about 40 km from the city center. Easy to reach by train, shuttle, or bus.
- Chopin Airport (WAW) — the main international hub, just 8 km from downtown Warsaw. Super convenient.
Here’s the deal: Ryanair is launching 25 new routes from Modlin and 6 new routes from Chopin Airport. That’s what we call spreading the love evenly.
🤝 A plot twist: from breakup to big plans
At the end of 2024, Ryanair was actually threatening to cut flights from Modlin. But clearly, something changed — coffee? compromise? low-cost magic? Either way, Ryanair and Modlin Airport signed a long-term development agreement, and now the future looks pretty bright.
By 2030, the airport expects to triple its passenger traffic, from 1.5 million to over 5 million a year. Plus:
- Ryanair will double its base aircraft at Modlin — from 4 to 8.
- Over 200 new jobs will be created.
-
And, most importantly, 25 new routes will take off.
❄️ What about winter?
Chopin Airport’s winter schedule is looking spicy too. Ryanair has confirmed 12 routes, with 6 new additions:
- Leeds (UK)
- Malaga (Spain)
- Pisa (Italy)
- Porto (Portugal)
- Seville (Spain)
- Tirana (Albania)
They’ll also increase flight frequency to popular spots like Alicante, Paphos, and Brussels Charleroi — because sun and waffles are always in season.
✈️ In short: more routes, more choice, more escape plans
This winter, Ryanair will operate a record 84 weekly flights from Chopin Airport — that’s double the number from last year.
Tickets for all new winter 2025 routes are already available on Ryanair’s website.
And hey — the earlier you book, the better the chance you’ll fly for the price of a cappuccino and a croissant, not a last-minute Uber across town.
